Wessex Water Challenge, 7 April 2018

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In conjunction with Wessex Water PLC I shall be attempting a run/walk/catch a fish marathon (#WessexWaterChallenge) all within a space of 24 hours. I shall be starting at 10am on Saturday the 7th of April and finishing at 10am on Sunday the 8th April 2018.

The idea is to:

Catch a fish (trout) first from Clatworthy Reservoir, then onto Hawkridge and then finally Sutton Bingham reservoir in the space of 24 hours all without the aid of wheeled transportation!

It will be my very toughest challenge to date so I would be hugely grateful for your support and donations as it is all to raise money for two great foundations - Fishing for Schools and Casting for Recovery.

If you would like to learn more about these two wonderful foundations and what they do you can find out about them here:

Thank you for all your support, Charles Jardine

About the charity

Many children and young people know little about the countryside and rural way of life. Its programme of educational initiatives will introduce them, and their teachers, to the beauty, importance and diversity of our rural heritage, inspiring them to become passionate about its future and protect it for future generations.
