Story
Wendy Woo's Warriors' is a group of family and friends coming together to remember the inspiring life of Wendy Yilmaz, who sadly passed away in June 2018 from Inflammatory Breast Cancer. With the support of many people, we have already raised over £2000 to support cancer charities important to Wendy and we want to continue raising money to help them provide crucial support to thousands of families currently battling this terrible disease.
To commemorate the first anniversary of Wendy's passing, we have chosen to do Nottingham Cycle Live to continue to specifically raise more funds for the incredible work done on Fraser Ward at Nottingham City Hospital, where Wendy passed away. Fraser Ward helps people and their families who are often dealing with the end stages of secondary cancers. We will cycle 25 miles around hilly Nottingham on 23rd June 2019 and we know Wendy will be smiling down on us as she herself took part in charity cycle events.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity enhances patient care at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts Queens Medical Centre & City Hospital. Donations help provide added extras such as improved facilities, equipment, research & staff development.
Thank you to everyone who supports us either financially with fundraising or throughout the ride, with moral support.
