Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been given this fantastic opportunity to run in 2 of the most exciting Marathons in the UK, 1 week apart, and both raising money for a great charity 'Guide Dogs for the Blind'
10th April 2011 - Brighton Marathon
17th April 2011 - London Marathon
Both in a very cute PUPPY SUIT!! (Photos online soon)
I hope that along with all the doggy jokes I am expecting over the next few weeks, especially in my training runs with the suit on, I will also be able to generate some much needed funding for the charity which receives no Government Funding and relies solely on voluntary donations.
Thousands of blind and partially-sighted people do not receive the rehabilitation services they desperately need and it costs around £10 per day to breed, train and care for each guide dog.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep (no pun intended!!) and donate now.
