Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for The Oxford Nursery's Buy a Brick campaign - their aim is to buy for 2500 bricks to build a permanent nursery/school for The Quentin Junior Academy in Tanzania, which provides education for 2 to 6 year olds who would otherwise be home alone whilst their parents are at work.

Each brick costs only £2 so for a small donation you can help put another brick in the wall.

I will be taking part in The Wolf Run, on 7 September, with my gorgeous friends, Carrie-Ann and Anna.  For those of you who don't know, the Wolf Run is wild running - woods, obstacles, fields and lakes, - basically, wet, muddy and exhausting! Those of you who know me, even a little bit, will know this is something very much outside of my comfort zone!

My daughter, Daisy, has attended the brilliant nursery at Littlemore Park for four years.  When I heard of their Buy a Brick campaign, I wanted to help and thought the Wolf Run would be a great way to do so.  I have been impressed with the efforts made by staff at the nursery, over the past few years, to raise much needed funds for The Quentin Junior Academy. So far they have raised funds to pay for a teacher, a year's supply of porridge, vegetable gardens, school stationery, tables, chairs and school uniforms. So please, help me support their latest campaign and buy a brick today.

Thanks Wendy x
