Story

As I seem to have find myself doing more marathons each year and as age catches up with me and PBs are harder to come by I thought I should set myself a new challenge so this year I am aiming to run 12 marathons in a 12 in 2012 challenge. So far I have signed up and paid to run in 7 so only 5 more to find!

Some might say this is a mad challenge although some will say "only 12"! Here's hoping I can get 12 done and manage to stay injury free too!

I first came across Combat Stress after hearing a very moving programme on Radio 5 Live about the trauma and stresses faced by returning servicemen from all conflicts.  Combat Stress does amazing work with these men and women to help them recover and recuperate and move on with there lives after suffering horrors most of us can never truly imagine.

So far I have run one marathon in February and have two planned for April 2012 (London Marathon and Manchester on the following week!)
