Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our page for the NSPCC in memory of our Mum.
Our Mum, Wendy Lomax, died on the 31st December 2017. Our lives will never be the same and we are heartbroken beyond words. The four of us are incredibly grateful for having such an exceptionally loving, caring, kind and thoughtful Mum. Our hearts ache so much without Mum here. What lucky souls we are to have had her in our lives.
Many children are not as fortunate as the four of us and that is one of the reasons why we have chosen to support the NSPCC, the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands, in memory of our Mum. It’s also a cause very close to Mum's heart - Mum would frequently have to turn away from the TV whenever a NSPCC advert came on as it upset her so much. Bless her heart.
We are very grateful for any donations, big or small. Thank you for demonstrating your love for our Mum in this way; Mum would be so touched by your generousity. Our goal is to raise £5000 for the NSPCC in Mum’s memory as there’s five of us in our family, with Mum, and so the number five is special to us for that reason as well as the comforting thought of how many children that money would help during desperately difficult times in their young lives. We are very thankful to you for helping us reach our ambitious target.
Love Kate, Oliver, Alice and Sophie
