I'm here to try to raise money & more awareness of 'Tiny Lives' by running The Great North Run on September 20th.

This is a very personal project for me as I was born 3 months premature at Newcastle General - weighing only 1Ib 12oz, the third smallest baby to survive at the hospital at that time. I had stoped growing at 24wks & was delivered at 28wks - due to pre-eclampsia.

I had extensive bowel surgery amongst other operations. It was touch & go & I nearly didn't make it a few times. For the next 12yrs or so I recieved after care & more operations at The Royal Victoria Infirmary & The Fleming Memorial Hospital. So in my own words I would like to say a "Big Thank you" to all the doctors, nurses, surgeons & consultants as it had not been for them or such services I would not be here today & this is my way of giving something back!
