Over the weekend of 12th and 13th September 2009, coinciding with Eczema Week, we walked the full route of "A Coventry Way" - a 40 mile circular route of footpaths encircling the city of Coventry to raisefunds for The National Eczema Society.

Formed in 1975, The National Eczema Society has two principal aims: first, to provide people with independent and practical advice about treating and managing eczema; secondly, to raise awareness of the needs of those with eczema with healthcare professionals, teachers and the government. They are committed to making life easier for the 1 in 3 children and 1 in 12 adults who suffer from eczema. They rely entirely on subscriptions and donations to fund their work.

Once you donate, they send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer thus we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Well, we did it! There aren't many bits of us that don't hurt, but all the donations we've received make that a very small price to pay!
