Story
In Nyle’s Memory
Most of my friends and family know that over the years I have done a lot of fund raising for various charities and raised over £40,000.00. On the 14th August this year I am going to do the biggest challenge ever, yes, a sky dive! For me this is massive as I have a phobia of flying, always been told to face your fears head on. So I am jumping out of an aeroplane to support a charity very close to my heart, the Mental Health Foundation. Having worked in mental health for 20 years, volunteering for the same Trust, been a listening volunteer at the Nottingham Samaritans and volunteer for the PBC Foundation supporting people with this chronic illness. There are so many of us battling with our mental health.
When my neighbours, well they are my neighbours but always call them my second mum and dad told me that their only grandson Nyle had taken his own life in November 2021 just felt so heartbroken for the whole family. We spent a lot of time together chatting and offered
a shoulder to cry on. Nyle who was only 21 had been struggling with his mental health for several years, in the end life just got too much for him. This has been totally devastating for the whole family, at least Nyle is at peace. He was so brave, you are now a hero, I believe you will give me the strength to do a sky dive in your memory xxxx
Thank you for your help and support
