My son was sadly born asleep on 05/01/2014 after contracting Group B Strep and myself not being treated for it with the correct medication.

I would like to raise as much money as possible to help raise awarness of GBS and the effects it has on pregnancy and newborns. I would like to eventually see a change in anti natal care to include information on GBS and the treatment pathways and also for prtegnant women to have a sensitive swab taken to check for GBS in the latter stages of pregnancy and/or when labour begins/rupture of membranes etc. so that a treatment plan can be put in place or treatment started as quickly as possible.
