Story
Wendy became suddenly unwell in August19, a week before we were due to fly to St Lucia to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had planned to return to the same hotel we were married in 20yrs ago to renew our vows with our children Joseph and Lily.
In September19 Wendy was diagnosed with the worst kind of malignant brain tumour. Despite being very badly affected by the Chemotherapy treatment, Wendy continued to fight, she was ferocious in her love for J&L, the thought of not seeing them reach their full potential was the worst pain for her throughout all of the illness.
Wendy passed peacefully in my arms on the morning of 30th April20. Joseph, Lily, Wendy's Mom Norma and Sister Sue were with her until the end.
In place of flowers at her funeral we are asking that donations are made to the Brain Tumour Charity. Wendy had already started to raise funds for them before her passing.
We are all determined to remember our beautiful, bright, vivacious, fun loving Wendy. Wife, Mummy, Friend, Daughter, Sister. She leaves a huge hole in all of us, the world is so empty without her and she will be talked about, missed and loved by many many people for lifetimes.
Thank you
Stephen, Joseph & Lily X
