Hello Friends,

 

As you may, or may not Know, Andy Walter was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in March of this year. This malignant tumour has been very aggressive, and Andy’s deterioration has taken us all by surprise. Around the beginning of May, Andy was told he has 6 weeks left to live.  None the less, his heart, his love, and his passion for his  family and friends have remained intact. Despite the tragic news, the Walter household is a wonderfully warm and loving place to be. We have been fortunate enough to spend a short time with Andy over the last few weeks, and the contribution of the McMillan Nurses cannot go by without mention. They have been truly amazing with their care of Andy and his family. They have played a major role in relieving the pressure the Walters have endured of the last couple of months.

 

And so, we have decided to enter this year’s Manchester 5k Colour Run. It will be held on the 21st July. This fun run will help raise money for Cancer Research. We want to help the people that are working tirelessly to understand cancer, and  work tirelessly to find a cure.
