We are fundraising on behalf of Robyn Sofia Harrison, my courageous little niece who lost her fight for life on Sunday 27th May, 2012, aged 11 years.

Since birth, Robyn faced many challenges and had a variety of complex medical needs.  As a result, she often spent long periods in Yorkhill Children's Hospital, a place that became like a second home. During this time, Robyn received first class treatment, attention, support and love from all of the fantastic staff at Yorkhill, and now we would like to do something in return.

All monies donated will go directly to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Yorkhill Children's Hospital, where Robyn spent much of her time.  This facility specialises in the care of critically ill infants and children, using innovative and often life-saving medical equipment and care.

Robyn had an amazing zest for life, a wonderful sense of mischief and never failed to impress with her "can do" and "will try" attitude.  A truly inspirational and humbling little girl, who will be missed by everyone who met her.
