We support people living with RA and JIA to be able to live the life they want to

Story

When Janet and I originally started planning our ride from John O'Groats to Lands End we had not intended collecting for charity as we felt that we were taking this on as a very personal challenge - to enjoy it!

Towards the end of last year Gerald's brother, John, died due to complications during his treatment for rheumatoid arthritis.   The ride was one of the last discussions Gerald had with his brother.  John had dealt quietly with the pain of this disease most of his life without any of us realising what the serious implications could be from some of the later treatment regimes he followed.  We now feel that it is only fitting to collect for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society and use the ride to publicise information about this charity which provides direct support for all people touched by this horrible debilitating illness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
