We are trying to raise £10,000 to provide a solar-powered water pump and farmland irrigation system for the village of Sintet in The Gambia, West Africa. With this money we can save lives and help the 4,500 villagers, who live in crippling drought and poverty conditions, grow their own crops for generations, providing food for the village and a small income which will enable them to pay to send their children to school.
