Water is the most precious gift you can give. Not only does it give life, it gives opportunity. It allows a mother to spend more time with her family, it gives joy to children. Especially now, through a global pandemic, communities need clean water

Story

Asalama'alaykum

Inalillah wa inaillahi rajioon. To Him we belong and to Him we return.

Earlier today we were informed that our beloved Uncle Kefiat Ullah (Father of Areeb Ullah) returned to his lord having contracted COVID-19 and following a short period in intensive care.

On the authority of Sa'd bin Ubadah (RA) he said "O Messenger of Allah, Umm Sa'd has died, so which charity is best?" The Messenger of Allah (SAW) replied "Water (is best)". So Sa'd dug a well and said "This is for the mother of Sa'd) (Abu Dawud)

A couple of us have come together to fundraise for a community well project run by the charity Muslim Hands. These wells are often based in arid areas where water is particularly scarce and can end up serving more than a thousand people.

May Allah accept from him and you all.
