We provide free mental health advocacy to those living in Leicester and Rutland

Story

On 9th April 2022 starting at 2pm GMT, in recognition of hitting 100 followers on Twitch, I will be doing a 24-hour charity livestream in support of LAMP (Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project)

For those that know me, I have struggled with anxiety and depression in some form for most of my life and without charities like this, I wouldn't be able to get advice on how to address and maintain my mental health. For those that have bad mental health days, you know that these days can be as crippling as a broken leg, but that never fully heals without constant care and careful maintenance.

I would like to set a goal to raise £250, so I thought I'd set this up early to give you plenty of time to donate if you are able to - but please do not feel pressured to do so! I also have some giveaway prizes to give to donators, so please donate what you can!

My livestream will be held on my Twitch channel: https://twitch.tv/weissandchill - please feel free to follow!

Thank you in advance to those that are able to donate, and I look forward to seeing people in the chat during the livestream!

About the charity

Mental Health is complex. Our advocacy work involves, listening, guiding, planning, supporting and ensuring their needs are properly considered. Mental Health cannot be ‘cured’ with one conversation, it takes time to form trust. Our advocates devote hours, days, months to provide the best support.
