Ali-when taking a look at the much valued and inspiring work of this hospice charity, the decision to take part in the Glitter Run was really a no-brainer. Apart from providing care and support for families facing life-limiting illness, the charity also dedicates itself to making every day count by arranging special requests for patients, such as a ride on a Harley Davidson or simply petting a hedgehog for the first time. Therefore, in order to do my bit and help raise funds for this very worthy cause, I'm going to get off my backside, get to the gym and do my best to get round with a mix of jogging and 'fast walking'. Please help support me in my quest!
Cath - running 🏃♀️ is not my strong 💪 point but it sounds great fun and I’ll give it my best shot for a great cause. I did suggest if we ran while eating doughnuts 🍩 that would suit me better! Please help me raise a few quid 💷, thanks 😀x
Laura-well, after saying for the past few years about running a 5K, I’ve finally decided that 2018 would be that year. After hearing about this run, I thought what would be better inspiration than ‘running’ alongside my family, getting covered in glitter, whilst raising money for a fab charity?! So here I am asking friends to donate to a great charity, thanks for reading.
Sarah- I am proud to take part in the Glitter Run 2018, running alongside my wonderful family. I hope that my contribution, however small, will help the hospice continue to provide high quality palliative care and support to patients' families in their time of need. I would be very grateful for any contributions my friends and family can spare towards this wonderful charity.
