Story
Christmas is supposed to be filled with family, joy, happiness and goodwill. But we know that Christmas can be a difficult time for some Care Experienced people. Many who have now left care, some as young as 16, live in homeless accommodation, B&Bs, single flats and hostels.
That’s why Who Cares? Scotland are organising Care Family Christmas for the sixth year in a row. This is a chance for Care Experienced people who might otherwise spend Christmas day alone to enjoy Christmas dinner, complete with all the trimmings, receive bags of presents to take home and celebrate the festivities with other Care Experienced people on Wednesday 25 December.
If you want to know more about what it means to those who take part, read these blogs on the Who Cares? Scotland website:

For me, this will be the third year in a row that I will be volunteering to make this special day happen.
Please donate and help us make Christmas special for our Care Family. Any funds raised over and above what we need for Christmas Dinner will contribute towards our calendar of events for Care Experienced people throughout the year.
