Losing dad was heart-breaking, as was losing mum. That’s why I’m supporting Worldwide Cancer Research to find and fund the bold ideas that kickstart cancer cures. Because when it comes to life-saving cancer research, the first step is the most important.

As hard as it was, I’ve decided to tell my story in a bid to kick-start cancer cures across the world.

Worldwide Cancer Research believes that bold research will cure cancer and the biggest risk is not taking one. The charity backs the brightest research minds all around the world in their quest to find the cures for a disease that affects so many lives, like it did mine. Without taking that crucial first step with discovery research, scientists can’t find new preventions, treatments and cures for cancer. 

I hope that one day cancer will no longer be feared, and no one else will have to celebrate their biggest moments in life without their parents by their side. The more pioneering cancer research we can fund together, the sooner that day will come.
