Tradition suggests that ‘The 12 days of Christmas’ is the period that marks the span between the birth of Christ and the coming of the three wise men. It begins on December 25th and runs through January 6th.

The 12 days of Christmas is also an annoyingly catchy Christmas song.

This year 12 days of Christmas will bring me my biggest challenge to date.

Due to work commitments my 12 days of Christmas will run from the 20th of December until 31st December. I will run a half marathon for each of the 12 days of Christmas giving me a total of 156 miles.

During the festive season, I like nothing more than being surrounded by friends and family, this year will be no different. Therefore, for each of the 12-half marathons I will be requesting some company.
