Hey up!
Thanks for visiting my sponsorship
page.
Hopefully, and seen as you've already
come this far, you'll be willing to part with a bit of your hard earned in
order to sponsor me to carry out all of the below events!
Firstly, the bumf (not my words by the
way)...
"Donating through JustGiving is
simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving –
they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll
send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on
every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to
donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I've decided to set up an online
sponsor form as it'll be easier and quicker for you donate your money to my
chosen charity..."
So basically everyone’s a
winner...well, apart from me, who'll probably be unable to walk properly by the
end of the year!
Anyway, from the beginning of April
until the end of September I will be participating in several sporting events
which will no doubt test my endurance to the limit while simultaneously wiping
out the majority of my social life. The events I aim to complete are as follows:
The Cleveland 26 Mile Survival Challenge - 27th March 2010 The Humber Sprint Triathlon
- 4th April 2010 The Darlington Sprint Triathlon - 16th May 2010 The Redcar Half Marathon - 13th June 2010 The Lyke Wake Walk - July 2010 The Stockton Sprint Triathlon
- 22nd August 2010 The Middlesbrough 10k Run - 5th September 2010 The Paras' 10
- 12th September 2010 The Great North Run - 19th September 2010
The above events
(with the exception of The Lyke Wake Walk) are all fully organised races, none
of which I have completed before. I will also
upload proof pictures of each of the events as and when I carry them out.
As for the charity, I
have chosen to raise money for Zoe's Place Middlesbrough. In a nutshell...
"Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies who have life limiting or
terminal illnesses, special and complex needs to varying degrees. They offer
palliative and respite care for babies/infants from birth to five years old.
They afford each individual respect and dignity regardless of gender, race,
culture, religious beliefs or disability."
Right, so now that
your heart has melted, it’s time to donate!!
Thanks for your time,
your support...and your cash!!

Zoe's Place is a home from home for babies/infants who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. Zoe's Place offers palliative, specialist respite, and end of life care for infants from birth to five years old.
We receive very little funding and therefore rely on donations/fundraising.
