Before I start telling you a bit about me and why I am doing this, I would just like to take this opportunity to say thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was never a big exercise person, and then just under 12 months ago I started running.  Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be running but it has become a big part of my life and I love doing it.  I did my first ever 10K in Lanzarote and it was such a great feeling when I finished, and as they say I have now been bit by the bug which has just spared me on to do more.  

Someone very close to me had a relative lose their fight against cancer recently, and the Bupa Great Manchester Run 2014 makes the perfect opportunity to show my support and to do something I love for such a great cause.

I understand that times are hard for everyone at the moment but please give what you can, even £1 goes someway to beating cancer.
