Wayne's Ex SAPPER VUELTA-The Royal British Legion

Ex SAPPER VUELTA-The Royal British Legion · 19 September 2016
Ex Sapper Vuelta is a fundraising event organised by 66 Works Group Royal Engineers. We have nominated three team members to each
represent one of our three chosen charities listed below. This is to try and simplify the look and process of donating. You can see a list
of all those involved above. So please donate to your preferred charity knowing that we are working as a team and that we all appreciate every penny given.
Members of 66 Works Group Royal Engineers are cycling from the Royal Albert Hall in London to Gibraltar, a distance of almost 1,800 miles in 300 hours (12½ days). Putting this into context, the Tour de France is approximately 2,200 miles and is completed over 21 days.
As background to the reason why, the Corps of Royal Engineers was established in Gibraltar and designed and oversaw the construction of the Royal Albert Hall. The Corps of Royal Engineers is celebrating its 300th anniversary – hence the format. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
