Story
Most of us know of someone who's fought cancer, some closer to home than others, so we want to support Macmillan & put our incredible superpowers to good use by raising some cash for this worthy cause.
On the 3rd July we will put our mesmerising golf skills to the ultimate test.....playing 72 holes in one day! Teeing off at 04:45 at the legendary Tracy Park golf wonderland in Wick we will WALK round the course 4 times finishing at close to 22:00. This is hard if you hit the ball straight. This is bloody hard if like us - you dont.. we think it will be around 20 miles, probably more!
We thought this would be easy & we were looking forward to it, but now as the reality slowly sets in we begin to realise what a mission it will be!
How will the lads survive Wayne's savage golf temper for that long? How many balls will Hooper lose or shank onto a different fairway? How much 'members luck' can Kinger possibly be unjustly rewarded with to win the day? The mystic ball finding goggles will surely make an appearance... Accusations of cheating will be dealt out....... arguments & awkward silences will no doubt occur...... and we may not even be friends afterwards....
