I've always been privileged to have a home, food, and somewhere I feel safe. But many don't.  And often through no fault of their own.

CEO Sleep Out is a national charity set up to inspire people in the business community (who don't have to be a CEO, I'm definitely not) to unite to fight homelessness, raising money for frontline services, helping to change lives.  

My chosen charity which CEO Sleep Out will support is Bus Shelter MK.  Their team provides shelter, food, and support for their residents, who are rough sleepers looking to make the right progress towards a life of independence away from the streets.  They started from a bus - hence the name - and now operate from a self-contained, nine bedroom centre in Milton Keynes which is currently full.  Urgent funds are required to enable them to help more residents rebuild their lives and find the safety and independence they deserve.

I will be spending the night in a sleeping bag for the first time since I don't know when AND under the starry skies of Milton Keynes.  Even more alarming is that no alcohol is allowed.  How will I survive ...?
