Story
On Friday 12th May, our families and many other people will be Sleeping Out in the centre of Winchester. No tents, no shelters. Just sleeping out in the open, plus maybe a cardboard box or two if the weather looks particularly cold or wet. We're doing this to raise funds for Trinity Winchester. And to remind ourselves of the many people who have nowhere to call home, and frequently find themselves without a roof over their heads.
Trinity Winchester is a local charity working with homeless and other vulnerable people in Winchester through a direct access drop-in centre in the City. We support over 500 people a year and need your help to raise the £750 per day it costs to provide all our services to people in need. Much of this is raised through events like Trinity's Big Sleep Out and individual donations. With your support we can continue to provide daily meals, healthcare, accommodation, and counselling to people who are experiencing the effects of homelessness.Together we can make a difference to the lives of many.
Thank you for your support. Every little helps.
