Story
Inna lilahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return).
This page is in memory of Dr. Mohammed Faiz Ahmed, who was a much loved and respected member of our family and also his community. He was diagnosed with cancer in February 2022 and passed away on December 24th, 2022.
We pray his rank is elevated, his sins are forgiven, and that he is in an everlasting state of peace and bliss in the akhirah. May Allah (swt) make his time in the grave easy. Ameen.
We are raising money on his behalf for community water wells to be built to serve people in the poorest of areas. The cost of one water well is £2600. InshaAllah each well will provide water to more than 1,000 people.
If you are able to, please donate.
The Prophet (saw) said:
"Treat your sick by giving charity."
"Give charity without delay for it stands in the way of calamity."
"Whoever brings his brother out of a discomfort, Allah (swt) will bring him out of the discomforts on the Day of Resurrection."
On the authority of Sa‘d ibn ’Ubadah (ra) who said, ’I asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Which charity is best?” He [saw] replied, “providing water.”’ (Ibn Majah)
JazakAllah Khair.
