Dear colleagues and friends,
The Sheffield office has entered the Sheffield Half Marathon on 25th April 2010 with a team of four superhuman highly tuned sportsmen that are the pride of Waterman in the North. The team is made up of:
Piotr ‘the Ironman’ Nowak (cptn)
Paul ‘reasons to be cheerful’ Diff
Steve ‘the Ringer’ Power
Lee ‘pretty boy’ Barnett
Piotr having recently returned from his high altitude training camp in the Brecon Beacons, is fully anticipated to be on his second lap by the time the rest of the team navigate their way out of the Don Valley Stadium. Despite this it is a group effort and our three best times will all count towards the Waterman team’s time. The trophy is as good as ours! Sheffield is renowned for its seven hills and the gruelling course through Sheffield’s finest industrial heartland and most of the city centre pubs. With such a challenge to resist a pint and keep running comes an appeal to you to show support to the intrepid team. We are running for Orchid (www.orchid-cancer.org.uk/), the male cancer charity that funds over £1.3 million of research and awareness every year. We would like to make it a worthwhile effort so any contribution would be very welcome. Please find it within you to show your support and give the guys even more reasons to keep on running.
