Story
In recent weeks we have all seen the suffering of innocent people across Palestine. We have decided that this year we want to support and raise awareness to try and help the families that have been affected by these barbaric attacks.
We have collectively decided to go Rapid Water Rafting on the River Tummel in Scotland this is a challenge for us as some of our group members are none swimmers. We successfully raised £5,000 from our last years Snowdonia walk, i'm confident that with all your kind support you will help us reach our target and raise some support to help the children and families that have been affected.
I would like to thank you all in advance for your support..

PALESTINE EMERGENCY MEDICAL APPEALJust when we thought that the people of Palestine were relatively safe, the violence has once again erupted. As of today, 119 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza by extensive Israeli airstrikes and shelling, including 31 children, and 830 people have been injured, according to Gazas Ministry of Health. The hospitals and medical institutions of Gaza are overrun and in need of desperate assistance. Gaza has a refugee population of 60% as a result of the decades of conflict and unrest. The economy has been severely affected with a staggering 70% of the Palestinian population unemployed with over 30% of those living below the international poverty line. Salam Charity is working with a trusted network of partners and organisations on the ground right now providing much needed medical supplies to some of the worst hit areas in Gaza. We are providing medicine and medical equipment to many hospitals in Gaza who are overrun and at bursting point.
