Warwick Tap Society's Charity Week in aid of CRASAC · 24 January 2020

CRASAC is a specialist service for adults and children who have been impacted directly or indirectly by sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives. We aim to address the trauma and injustice of sexual abuse through specialist advocacy, counselling, training, and prevention services.

Story

Every year Warwick Tap Society host a charity week raising money for a local charity. This year we are fundraising in aid of Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre. This is a charity that provides support for women, men and children who have experienced any kind of sexual abuse at any time in their life.  They offer counselling, support, information or are there to just listen if you want someone to talk to.

Heres a few ways in which your money helps:

  • £4 pays for their service to stay open for 1 minute
  • £10 pays for a call they make to support a victim or survivor from their helpline
  • £50 a month pays for the taxis disabled victims or survivors need to attend their counselling sessions
  • £125 pays for a victim or survivor to have counselling for a month
  • £300 pays a month's rent for our two children’s counselling rooms & reception area.
Any money you can donate would be amazing

Thank you
