On the 16th June 2018, members of the Arcadis Warrington office are heading to the Peak District to take part in a number of sponsored events including a mammoth 26 mile walk and a 62 mile bike ride to raise money for our chosen charity MIND.

Approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year, however, research shows that only 1 in 8 adults with a mental health problem are currently receiving treatment or support.

MIND is a charity that aims to ensure that no one must face a mental health problem alone, by providing a lifeline to thousands of people, providing confidential advice on a range of topics to people of all ages and backgrounds. 

Over the last parliament year, the government has reduced funding for mental health services by 8.25%, we are raising money for MIND so that everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.  

All proceeds from the Around the Peaks challenge in 2018 will be donated directly to Mind.
