Story
Ammie was born in Queen Elizabeth but was quickly transferred to the Neonatal unit at the Evelina Children’s Hospital, diagnosed with Neonatal sepsis. She spent 9 days on a life support machine, her prognosis a 2% chance of survival, and if she did, with life limiting complications. It was only a little bit of luck, and the advanced expertise by of the incredible consultants, doctors and nurses that not only saved her but gave her every opportunity to thrive. Ammie is now 3 years old, intelligent, funny and incredibly cheeky, loving life!
The Evelina hospital is an incredible place with so many unsung heroes, working tirelessly to care for the sickest children with an immediate threat to life. They will always be close to all those who know and love Ammie and we will always be grateful, especially to the Neonatal unit… any donations, however much will mean so much!
