On Saturday 22 January 2022, during the week of prayer for Christian Unity, Christ Church are hosting the Ware Inter-church Quiz. Tearfund have kindly agreed that we can use the questions from their Big Quiz Night. The quiz is free to enter so instead we are asking participants, if they can, to make a donation.  The funds raised this year will be going towards Tearfund projects in Rwanda.    

Two years ago, a team from Christ Church visited Rwanda to see Tearfund's work for ourselves.  Tearfund is training church leaders to engage with their communities in self-help programmes aimed at building resilience and ending poverty.  When we were in Rwanda, we were able to witness these self-help groups learning agricultural, entrepreneurship and other practical skills, as well as helping those most in need in their communities. Its amazing what can be achieved with God's help and when people work together.  Every pound we raise will allow more people and communities in Rwanda to experience spiritual, social and economic transformation.
