I am doing a sponsored silence for one of the most persecuted people in the world to raise awareness for them through Aegis Trust (a genocide prevention charity). The Rohingya Muslim minority in Burma are the victims of brutal state-sponsored ethnic cleansing which is ongoing as we speak.

Rendered stateless - they have been pushed to the margins of society and are discriminated against in every form. Many have fled (risking their lives by doing so) and now laguish in squalid refugee camps in Bangladesh, in camps in the Far East or are victims of human trafficking. The Rohingya that remain are at constant risk of massacres and other attrocities - as is happening right now. Have a look at the few minute video in my gallery.

Let us not overlook the plight of others or underestimate what we can do - fundraising and spreading awareness are both incredibly important. Thank you
