Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I've decided to run for Cancer Research because 3 of my close family have been affected by Cancer - my Grandad Wanless died of lung cancer over 25 years ago, and both my mam and nana have had, and fought, breast cancer.
Mam is fully in remission, and nana has just fought her second bout of the disease in the last 12 months. Luckily the treatment seems to have worked.
Because of the shock and uncertainty I felt whan mam and nana were diagnosed, and the incredible pride I feel at the way they have both got on and fought the disease, I feel it's the least I can do to give something back to help others who may be less fortunate than my family.
That's why it would mean a lot to me if you could sponsor me for this run, no matter how small the donation, as every penny counts in the battle against this seemingly random killer.
