A team of formerly homeless people from Emmaus Leeds are gearing up for a walking challenge in memory of fellow Emmaus Leeds companion Steven Wall.
Steven, who lived and worked at homelessness charity Emmaus Leeds, passed away on 12th January 2016 after a long battle with cancer. The Emmaus Leeds community were keen to carry out an act of solidarity in memory of Steven and to support two charities close to Steven’s heart.
Wall’s Walking Challenge will take place in four locations throughout 2016/2017 All money raised will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, St Gemma’s Hospice and a memorial plaque to celebrate the life of Steven.
