Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My childhood friend Holly Enston, sadly took her own life on the 25th of September 2014, leaving so many of us behind heartbroken at the loss of such an amazing, talented and special person. I was close to Holly for many years of my life and I have so many fond memories of her and the wonderful person she was, I will always hold her close to my heart and will remember her for the rest of my life. She was the most wonderful and warm person and it is such a devastating loss to all those who she touched with her infectious laughter and amazing humour. It is such a tragic and awful occurrence when someone, especially as young as Holly was, feels like there is no other option than to escape by taking their own life. This is why I have decided to run a half marathon on the 4th of October 2015 to raise money for the wonderful charity PAPYRUS which helps in the prevention of young suicide. They provide private and confidential support to any young people or those worried about a young person who is at risk of suicide, they train people to work with those individuals and help them in any way they can. I hope by raising money for this amazing cause I can help save at least one person who feels like there is no other option and prevent the loss of more amazing young people like Holly. I would be extremely grateful if you could donate to such a brilliant charity through this page, to help remember Holly and hopefully help save the lives of young adults who may need guidance in dark times throughout their lives.
