Story

I'm taking part in the sponsored step challenge that's good for the sole! I will be stepping it up between 4th and 10th May to raise vital funds for Guide Dogs! The sponsorship money you help me raise really will make a difference, now more than ever, with Guide Dogs fundraising being hit so hard by the Coronavirus pandemic.

It costs £8 to feed a guide dog puppy for 10 days, keeping them healthy and happy. Just £25 would buy one of the iconic white harnesses which guide dogs proudly wear.

Last year my challenge was to walk 100,000 steps in a week. I'd like to achieve this again this year but with current guidelines of going out once a day for exercise, I am setting myself a goal of 85,000 steps for the week. Any more will be a bonus!

Go on - help me knock my socks off!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
