I've been involved with Velindre since 2015 and am proud to be an ambassador for this amazing charity which helps so many people suffering from cancer.

I have taken part in several treks helping to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for Velindre and have met some truly wonderful and inspiring people along the way. Some of them, together with many others, wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Velindre so I've decided to put my walking boots on again! 

Next July I will be heading to Morocco and following a trail up to Mount Toubkal - the tallest peak in the Atlas Mountains at 4,167m (13,671ft).

It will be a tough challenge but nowhere near the challenge facing people dealing with cancer. The money raised will provide vital funds for Velindre Cancer Centre, and give hope for more cancer patients and their families in Wales during a difficult time.
