Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My amazing Grandpa has pancreatic cancer but it was found too late for him to be cured. He is so strong and brave and we are all very very proud of him. Unfortunately most people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when it's too late for them to be cured. However, there is hope - the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund are researching an early detection test and if successful this would make such a HUGE difference. We hope that by raising money for this brilliant research those diagnosed in the future will have hope.
On Sunday May 3rd Grandpa and I will be walking 2 miles (this is 5,000 steps on a fit bit or phone) We will be doing this remotely because of Covid 19 but that shouldn't stop any of us from taking part. Please donate £2 per person and walk 2 miles with us on May 3rd. Feel free to donate more too as everything will go direct to the charity.
Pancreatic cancer patients are some of the most vulnerable during the covid pandemic and it would be amazing to help their charity during this difficult time. Although they have to isolate they DO NOT have to be alone. Let's WALK TOGETHER on Sunday May 3rd for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
Please email me or my mum a photo of your walk - I hope that you will do it with your friends and family - the more the merrier!
Thank you so much,
Lottie and Grandpa Hall.
