Our Capital Build Project has the aim of raising £15 million to create a hospice fit for the future and able to meet the needs of our patients, carers and families in a place that supports care, dignity and respect for their needs.

Story

In September this year Stuart lost his wife, Charlotte & Ben lost their Mum and we all lost our very lovely friend. Not a day goes by when we don’t think about her.

Eileen had a very short and difficult battle with cancer and passed away less than 6 months after she was diagnosed.

She never wanted a celebration of her life but in her memory, and in recognition of the excellent care and support offered to her and her family by the Ayrshire Hospice, we are walking the Mighty Stride (23 miles from Glasgow Green to Balloch) as part of this years Glasgow Kiltwalk and in Australia, Nicky is walking the 38 km Coast to Vines trail the same weekend.

It costs £22,000 a day to run the Ayrshire Hospice, approximately £8 million a year, with two thirds of that funded through voluntary donations, so every penny counts!

Please give generously if you can.

Thank You.
