Story

Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit!

Laurence and friends have inspired me to join them on their Round London Walk 2010 to raise money for Alzheimers on Saturday 21st August.

The route runs from Kings Cross, to Greenwich, to Westminster Bridge and back to Kings Cross via Regents Park. 36.5 miles in all, should take around 10 or 11 hours.

Alzheimers is a condition effecting more and more people and it is vital that we continue to raise awareness of this fact . I want to do what I can to help and donning a pair of walking boots to walk the Jubilee Greenway with other inspiring people seemed the perfect way to do it.

If you would like to join us please contact me (kate_farrow@hotmail.com)

Or if you just want to meet us for a post walk pint and tales of hardship and open air toileting, we will be partaking in a couple in Kings Cross around 5pm.

Any donation large or small, would be incredibly gratefully received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

From all of us a MASSIVE thank you and hope to see some of you with us or laughing at us in the pub after! Kate
