Story
The Dave Holman Challenge is an annual walk organised by the friends of Tiny Steps, in memory of our dear friend, brother, uncle and son - Dave Holman. Dave died in a road accident in 2016 and this walk ensures his memory lives on in a positive way, by raising money for a Northwich-based charity that he supported. It is a chance for walkers to come together on an annual basis, take on a physical challenge, remember Dave and raise money for Tiny Steps. The route for the fifth DHC will take walkers from Morecambe to Blackpool along the Lancashire Coastal Path, with either a 24 or 32-mile option. Tiny Steps' aim is to provide a sensory play area and social cafe for children and young people with additional needs and their families in the Northwich/Winsford area of Cheshire. The charity was set up when Martin and Laura Clifton's daughter Connie was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy called West Syndrome.
