Walk the Thames 2010 · 20 February 2010 ·
The date - 20 and 21 Febraury 2010
Over the course of two days the LawWorks team will walk 40 miles from the Thames Barrier in the east, to Hampton Court Palace in the west. What better way to shift that Christmas bulk?
Double you Donation!
All funds raised for the LawWorks team will go towards our current matched-fundraising campaign with the Ministry of Justice, meaning that every £1 you donate will be doubled! (click here to see the totaliser...)
Every year thousands of people rely on free legal advice services to help them through difficult circumstances. The work of the organisations that provide this assistance is consistently underfunded and in need of ongoing support. Through its large network of individual volunteers, law firms, companies and law schools, LawWorks helps to coordinate pro bono advice so it is only provided to those people and communities that really need it.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: the charities receive your donations faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation (plus that matched funding thing I mentioned earlier).
Thanks to all our walkers and sponsors!
