We are doing a Walk in Her Name for Sarah in March as it is ovarian cancer awareness month.
Sarah was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at just 35. After a year of treatment she went into remission in summer 2017. However just 8 months later, in early 2018, the cancer returned in a more aggressive form. Despite treatment the cancer spread and she died at the end of July 2018.
Sarah was a bright, vivacious young woman who dealt with the disease with courage. She did not allow the cancer to dim her joy of life and faced everything with her customary braveness and laughter.
We are doing this walk on a route Sarah loved in the town she lived in. Please help us raise money for Ovarian Cancer Action so together we can prevent other women and their families and friends from ever having to lose their lives or loved ones to this horrible disease.
