The Lingen Davies Cancer Relief Fund raises money to improve cancer services for the people of Shropshire and Mid Wales, raising funds to provide
new buildings and equipment, to give a more comfortable environment for local cancer patients. The new Cancer and Haematology Centre at the
Royal Shrewsbury Hospital was funded by £3.2m raised by Lingen Davies.
The new appeal is attempting to raise £300,000 in order to furnish and buy
equipment.

The Challenge
The Improvement Team from Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital are planning a
fundraising walk from the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, to the Royal
Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury - a distance of 15 miles, and hope many of you can join us. All fundraising efforts will go towards the Lingen Davies
Appeal.
So, dig out your walking shoes and join us for a stroll across Shropshire. You may or may not want to do all, some or part of the walk, its up to you.
