It´s that time of year folks...........

 

On Sunday 19th September the ladies of the Costa Brava will be partaking in the 3rd Walk for Life in aid of Cancer research UK and Oncolliga Girona.

If you are able please come and join us. You can walk, run, hop or skip if you wish and there´s a longer route for those who feel up to it! The walk starts at 10am and afterwards there will be the usual stalls (cakes, tombola, bric-a-brac etc) also helping to raise money and the Balloons for Heaven, the lovely idea of 7 year old Ellie King in memory of ner nana, Eileen Wooding, where you may buy a balloon and write a message for a lost loved one and then all the balloons will be released into the sky together.

 

Thanks to your generosity over the last 2 years we have raised a staggering 3,200 pounds for Cancer Research Uk and over €10,000 for Cancer charities in Catalunya, which is just fantastic. We cannot thank you enough for your previous support.

Another year has passed, which means that more of us have someone dear to us who has lost their battle or have a loved one embarking on their fight against cancer. Please, please PLEASE dig as deep as you can to help us raise as much money as possible for these wonderful charities who offer so much help and support to those in need.
