Fundraising for Cash for Kids Lancashire
Story
Philip Livesey and Bobby Heaps have arranged to do a fundraising walk in memory of Katy Holmes on Sunday 13th May @1am from Deepdale Stadium, The home of Katy's beloved football team to Goodison Park to help raise money to fund the research of Paediatric Brain Tumours in hope that one day a cure will be found.
This is a 28.4 mile walk (approx 10 hours) and every step we take will be in Katy's memory.

Katy Holmes was 10 years old when she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in October 2011. She fought very hard and bravely against the tumour but very sadly passed away on the 19th January 2012.
Rock FM's Cash for Kids are currently assisting the wonderful Holmes Family to start a new charity in memory of Katy and all monies raised will go towards funding the research of paediatric brain tumours in hope that one day a cure will be found.
