Thousands of healthcare workers are struggling in the cost-of-living crisis. The Healthcare Workers' Foundation wants to help as many as possible with our Hardship Fund grants, but we simply can't support everyone who needs us, and we need your help.

Story

The cost-of-living crisis is having a real impact on healthcare workers, with some hospitals even setting up foodbanks for their staff. Thousands of healthcare workers are leaving jobs they love, to get better paid work elsewhere. Those who remain in healthcare are already overworked and exhausted, with many now worrying about household finances too. Theyre having to make daily choices on whether they can turn on the heating or go without food. The Healthcare Workers' Foundation have set up a Hardship Fund, offering grants of up to £1,000 to healthcare workers struggling financially. They knew there was a need for these grants, but had no idea just how much. The Foundation has been inundated with applications, along with requests for support for other services. As winter continues and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis worsens, more applications are being received every week and there just isn't the funding to help everyone who needs it.
